The fanfare of Dzierżoniów has been composed by Edward Dąbrowski, the bandmaster of a Brass Band "Silesiana". The lost notation of the fanfare was later reconstructed out of the melody by Mr. Stefan Kunert, a headmaster of Music School in Dzierżoniów. The fanfare was then recorded in a radio studio in Wrocław in 1997 and accepted by the Town Council.
